This show does not make any sense!?!?! My kids were AFRAID to watch it when they were little. Why are there only 4 Teletubbies? Are they the only ones were (or should I say were the hell) they live. One of the people in the Teletubbie costume got in trouble with the police. It was first a english comedy show for GROWN-UPS!
This contains no inappropriate content at all, but it's just makes absolutely no sense. Just turn your toddlers to the cleverness of Sesame Street (though it is fun to do the classic Jimmy Kimmel "unnecessary censorship" on Sesame Street clips).
A note to Teletubbies: Any Age Can Watch Teletubbies but Older Kids, Tweens and Teens Can't Watch It because They're getting too old to Watch these episodes and being Childish. I will'd be accdicted if i am more than First Grade! I used to watch it since One. 10-year-old boys would say "I don't like Teletubbies." I don't like Teletubbies. Then, I will be very young. Only up to 7. Daycare,Preschool, or Kindergarten: Allowed. Elementary: After Kindergarten and First Grade. Junior High: They're Too Old for It. Senior High: Yeah? Oh My Gosh, They're going to be very too OLD to watch it! College: While They've a kid under 6 or 7 to watch Teletubbies(other baby stuff too), And Okay...I'm going to watch George Lopez, Malcolm in the Middle, Everybody Hates Chris, and Family Matters... something.
This is a very great and wonderful show for toddlers... EXCEPT FOR THE EPISODE WHEN THE TELETUBBIES SWEAR LIKE CRAZY!!!!
Yeah, you know their "TUBBY TALK?" They didnt use their tubby talk in one episode, and instead they swore like crazy at eachother, and had a PILLOW FIGHT! (The pillow fight may sound okay, but guess what? Po the teletubby was INSIDE the pillow! The poor tubby was being whacked against Tinky Winky! HORRID!But no worries, because they took that episode off the air. :) Have a nice day!
I never could stand this show! It only teaches children what they already know so what's the point in that? Children need to learn and grow not be taught what they already know, it's stupid. Toddlers are smarter than some people seem to make them out to be, so they truly are too smart for this show. I think this show belongs to the chimps, then again I don't think chimps would truly get anything out of it either. Why can't there be more Sesame Street type of shows that teach toddlers and young children many things!
This show is horrible! It teaches kids nothing and should be banned from TV forever! This is the reason so many kids are failing school! No one ever watch this pile of $#!/ it will make your brain go SPLAT all over the #@%? floor!
Terrifying, an utterly horrifying programme. I have nightmares about this every night, and im a 25 year old man. The dreams come all the time, as I suffer from sleep paralysis. Most people suffer from seeing ghosts or terrifying figures, but I see these multi-coloured monsters as they plan my slow torturous death.
Well, even if this show is for babies, it inspires my 10 year old daughter. She tends to write stories and this show gives her ideas. But honestly, it's a very annoying show.
Educational: Because it does counting and letter fun.
Positive Messages: Especially with the "Big Hug" all the time.
Good Role Models: Because of the Noo-Noo tidying up. And the fun that they have interacting with each other.
Consumerism: A load of companies have released a variety of Teletubbies merchandise.
Review: I love the show. My 11 year old son loves it too.
Even my 1 month old baby loves it! That's how we got a first smile out of him! My daughter age 2 would do anything to meet the Teletubbies! Her favorite is Tinky Winky!
Everything is not a lesson but appropiate for young. This show is meant to make your young one laugh. Stupid for parents not to let their young watch this. Everything is not a lesson. Lighten Up and let your kid watch this. I Gave it two stars because I've outgrown it.
While the content is harmless, what this show is doing is training your child to watch TV. It is aiming at the pre-verbal child, thus the seemingly non-sensical language. How to appeal to small children was researched to the nth degree while this show was being developed. It does it's job, but is this really what we want to do--train our babies to watch TV? Don't they learn that early enough already?
