Historical

It is important for children to learn what happened in their past, if they aren't squeamish and get nightmares, let them go ahead.

Best series I've ever watched

"The Assassination of Gianni Versace" is no doubt the best series I've ever watched. It is gripping from the start, very accurate, and was the highlight of my TV week. I would give the show an age rating of 15+. As you'd expect, it contains quite a lot of violence, some of which is graphic, particularly the murder of Jeff Trail, as some other reviewers have said. There is some sexual content and references (the main character is a male prostitute) however, there is not much actual sex shown and only nudity from behind. There is some bad language, but it is relatively infrequent . Overall, I'd recommend the series for anyone interested in True crime aged 15 and up.

WOAH (btw I am a TEEN, I didn't mean to post this here)

I watched this tv show when it premiered on fx and I have watched it every week at the time it comes on. I LOVE the show. I never considered myself to be into this kind of show but I am so happy I decided to watch. Darren Criss' acting is incredible and I am completely enthralled week after week. I think you should consider your own maturity level when deciding on watching the show. My family tends to be picky about what I can watch (and I may be watching this without their consent) but I believe that I am mature enough. The main things show contains (SO FAR- I am at episode 5) that are risky are the sexual topics (a couple of risky parts) and definitely violence. Understand that if this stuff bothers you, you shouldn't watch, I believe I have a high tolerance for violence and I thought the murder especially of Jeffery Trail was gruesome and kind of hard to watch. Anyway, I love it and totally recommend, all the acting is phenomenal. Know your own maturity level before you watch this show is my advice. (Kids should NOT watch this show though)

Language -Swearing every once in a while not a lot at all Sex -sex is a big part of this show. -How two of the main characters are gay and one has worked as a sex worker. -There aren’t any sex scenes per day -They show butts but no frontal nudity - a character is shown touching himself through his underwear sexually -a lot of speedos Violence -lots of violence, the murderer kills several victims, one being the most gory is Jeffrey trail. -lots of blood and gore. Conclusion -this show is overall great. Great acting and amazing portrayal of a murderer by Darren criss. I wouldn’t be surprised if this show won emmys.

SO GOOD

OH MY GOSH, this season of American Crime Story is so good! The show is rated MA for language, but there is none. The show is basically about a LGBT relationship love triangle and how it leads to the murder of Gianni Versace. I don’t think it’s appropriate for anyone under 17, no matter how mature the kid is, because of the amount of sex in the show. There is a scene where the main character feels himself as he stares at a male member of his household sleeping. For mature teen/adults, The Assassination of Gianni Versace is an amazing show with great cinematography, script, and soundtrack.
