this show is Awesome it is soo funny and i think that 13 year old and up should watch it. for 5 to 12 year old stay away from mtv for a couple of years.
I laughed, I cried, then i launcued a cannonball through my PIRATE BAR!!!
this show is the only MTV show that really has a basis in entertainment. people can figure out whatever the f*&% he's saying even with the bleeps and blurps. i think it's hysterical and should replace shows like NEWLYWEDS and REAL WORLD. if REAL WORLD was ANYTHING like the real world, you wouldn't have a freaking show. but that's another review
I have to say this was my guilty pleasure as a teen. So I'm not going to totally write it off. Now that I'm an adult do I fully realize how blah it is. It can be interesting and funny, but it's mostly Jack Ass, immature stuff. They're constantly smacking around Vito and Bam's dad. Even though Bam's parents seem cool to let him do what he does. Thing is, he's rich so he can afford to clean it up and I'm sure his parents act out for tv. I would say it's okay for older preteens, watch a few episodes with them. Just cross your fingers they know never to attempt the same stuff seen on the show. Even with all the warnings.
Viva La Bam is one of my favorite shows on television. I'm 17 so it's appropriate from me and mature teenagers. I just read this site's note on the show and I have a few things to say...
As far "the show features stunts that are dangerous...", the show has a freaking WARNING before it even starts! If your kids are smart, they'll understand what "Viva La Bam features stunts performed by and under the supervision of professionals to ensure the safety of performance....MTV and the producers must insist that no one re-create or re-enact any of these stunts...." I mean, c'mon people!
All the curse words are censored as any nudity that might appear. It is a wonderful show and Bam and is crew are genius.
