Are Kids Becoming Immune to Celebrity Escapades? Are Parents?
Your Comments:Take a look at MySpace lately? Listen to Gwen Stefani or Britney lately? There is so much inappropriate material out there... and it can be your own child. I am so tired of the media not taking blame for how our children are influenced. It certainly was not okay to do this when I was young – so why is it okay now? There is line between free speech and common respect and decency. Celebrities like “Fergie” are making a token effort to clean up their “acts” because they see the innocent faces of Sasha and Malia Obama singing….. HER WORDS and seeing pictures of her in risque clothes!! And of course with the internet any age can be exposed to this smut, all in the name of free speech. When are these self indulgent people going to take responsibility for their actions and grow up? Of course Madonna is one of the worst and she is in her 50’s.!!

Can Teens and Parents Get Closer with Texting?
Your Comments:Depends on the kid! I disabled my daughter's text. My son will text me with nice sentiments - when he won't even look me in the eye when we are together. He texts me when he is in trouble. However I think it is sad that our world has progressed to where the sound of person's voice is alien, and the delayed reaction of text can "save face." You can tell more about who/what/where and the state of mind of your child if you hear their voice. And of course I would much rather hear I LOVE YOU in person.

Are We More Concerned About Sexting Than Sex?
Your Comments:Remember when you were little and wanted that troll doll? Or when your child really really wanted that Razor scooter? How did kids learn about this stuff and come to crave it so? ADVERTISING and TV and an overdose of media/video influence!! I am so sick and tired of the excuse that Tv/Media/video games do not have an influence on our children. Then why are our kids so numb to violence? Why is it okay to have lines of coke and scanty bodies on TV? My daughter was watching MTV at 330pm on a Saturday. What was it about? A bisexual making out!! I am not a prude nor am I judging peoples lifestyles. But when is enough, enough?
