About Me

Over the past 12 years I've been a writer, editor and video producer for dozens of Web, print and broadcast outlets including MTV, Nickelodeon, Maxim, Stuff, Blender, TV Guide, Vibe, Playboy, The Hollywood Reporter and many others. My areas of emphasis include gaming and movies, though I've covered the full spectrum of popular culture.

What My Kids Love Now

Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, books by Eric Carle, Peggy Rathman, Sandra Boynton

House Rules

We try to limit the TV viewing to 30 minutes per day. It's never on in the background.

When the Kids Are Asleep…

We watch Project Runway, Lost, American Idol (my wife, not me;). I'm a fan of Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

My Biggest Challenge Is:

When the kids are fussy I'm tempted to turn on the TV to pacify them. I try to resist this and spend time with them on other activities.
