Your Comments:I agree with this being legal. Personally, I wouldn't do this because not only morals, but religion gets in the way. But teens should have some freedom to choose if they want to "sext" or not. It should be their decision, not the laws. If only 22% of them admit to doing it, that probably means around 30% actually do. Not ALL kids do. We do need SOME freedoms to make on our own. But I'm not disagreeing with getting trouble. Just not THAT much trouble. I agree COMPLETELY with LNA Walters: "As a parent to small children, I want to know sex offenders who live around me who are a danger to my children. Teens guilty of sexting lack maturity, education, parents who care enough to oversee, whatever...but they're not a danger to my children. It should be illegal, but they shouldn't be caught in the net of sex offender. That's just silly."
