I like it, but it can be confusing for younger kids. Not as scary as the movie. If your kids want to watch the movie, read the book with them first, if they do okay it's probably safe.

Not perfect
It's cute, but violent. Though I like that Jenny is a girl, yet is strong and can fight. I think that she is a good role model for little kids, minus the violence.
