This is one of the best shows on television. Brilliant casting and really good characters. The corpses are very bloody and can unnerve even me, a fifteen year old with a stomach of wrought iron. The ...

No Good
This show is just plain bad. It's like it's trying really hard to be a claymation version of Family Guy and failing about as epically as you can.

Movie: The Fourth Kind
I rate this titleonand give it- My highlights are:
This movie is absolutely terrifying. It's much better than Paranormal Activity. It's a very interesting film and the best part is, it terrifies while keeping content to a minimum, with only ...

Music: Taylor Swift
I rate this titleonand give itHer pseudo-deep music is so obnoxious it gives me a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. Her lyrics are awful, she's not a talented instrumentalist, and on top of all that, she can't ...

Hilariously Dry Comedy Perfect For Anyone over Eleven
This is one of the funniest shows ever produced, and Jerry Seinfeld is one of the funniest men alive. Violence is not a problem. There are a few sexual themes, but most are so euphemised that anyone ...

DVD: The Wizard of Oz
I rate this titleonand give itMeh.
I don't particularly care for it, but if you're into it, fine. I am personally not a fan of Judy Garland's acting though she is a great singer.

Music: "Party in the U.S.A." (CD single)

Quite Possibly the Best Sci Fi Show Ever Made
One of the best shows ever. Up there with House and Bones. Very intriguing plot and complex moral themes (like a robot pregnant with a human's baby). Lots of action and drama. The violence ...

Very Good Movie, but Complex Themes Could be Over Younger Kids' Heads
It's a very good movie, but if someone is too young to handle post-apocalyptic images or to even understand what post-apocalypse is, they won't fully appreciate this movie. It's very ...

What's the right age for kids to go online?
Your Comments:I started going online when I was around six or seven years old. My parents almost always supervised me. Now that I think about it, I didn't go online that much until I got my laptop. But, I was allowed on without parental supervision when I was around nine.

What's the right age for kids to get a cell phone?
Your Comments:I got one when I was twelve, but I really didn't use it. I really didn't start using one until I was fifteen, but I was really antisocial until I turned fifteen. It's a useful tool for a social child, however, in the hands of an irresponsible person, it's a propagator of child pornography. I say know your kids, but give it to a good, mature thirteen if you want an age.

Should teachers "friend" their students on Facebook?
Your Comments:Yes or no. It really doesn't matter.

What’s your school’s cell phone policy?
Your Comments:Well, we're not supposed to use ours during school hours unless it's an emergency, which is reasonable. Most people text during the day anyway, though. When we get caught we get an infraction and the administration keeps our phone overnight.

Video games as teaching tools?
Your Comments:Games can be more educational than you all admit. I've learned a lot about Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythology from an RTS called Age of Mythology, and, more so, it piqued my interest so that I would research it more. Another example, a Dynasty Warriors-style, hack 'n slash game called Samurai Warriors piqued my interest in Japanese history, which I wrote a nearly perfect research paper on in Eighth Grade. Even some violent, M rated titles have education value. Assassin's Creed puts you in a realistic Crusade-era environment, which people will be interested in. Assassin's Creed II does the same thing, only with the Italian Renaissance. BioShock has strong undertones of Objectivism, which could lead players into an interest in philosophical-political theories and even be motivated to start reading the works of philosophers like Ayn Rand, Karl Marx, or Henry David Thoreau. These are only a few examples. I can keep going, if you like. Okay: The Call of Duty franchise can help to teach people about military tactics and history. Titles like Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Origins, can help with the development of a player's morality system. Co-op based gameplay, like that found in the Left 4 Dead franchise can help foster cooperation and teamwork. The Tekken and Soul Calibur franchises can foster an interest in the Martial Arts. I can go on and on, but the point is, that blatantly educational video games usually fall flat, but many games have underlying educational themes. You just have to look hard enough.

Should You Read Your Kids’ Texts?
Your Comments:Apparently, the process of RAISING your children is obsolete in this day and age. Nowadays, shoving your kids in a bubble and controlling every move they make passes for parenting. Reading your kids text messages is NOT going to make them better people and it's easy to avoid. All a kid has to do is delete their messages and you can't read what they wrote. Here's a crazy idea, parents, how about teaching your children proper morals and philosophies so you don't NEED to know what it says in their private conversations! What a novel idea!

Should You "Friend" Your Kids on Facebook?
Your Comments:I don't see any great wrong with it, but I don't know if it's necessary either. Here's the rub, even a parent who's friends with their kid can really only see what the kid wants them to. Wall posts, which can be easily deleted, and what the child chooses to publish. They can't read private messages or monitor private chats. Parents can friend their kids, but there's no need to.

Full-Frontal Awkwardness
Your Comments:I don't so much understand why we're so offended by nudity. The human body is one of God's most beautiful creations and is meant to be admired. Yet, we cover it up as if we're ashamed of who we are and how we look. Now, this scene was probably shown sexually, which isn't necessarily good to show a young child, as it puts pre-maritally sexual thoughts in their heads. Which, needless to say, is probably not good for them to be thinking.

Rules of the Road for Texting
Your Comments:Texting in class is not that big a deal. I do it sometimes and it doesn't impair me that much I'm an A-B student so It's not that big a deal, though I don't do it that often. Texting while driving, on the other hand, is a completely different story. It is totally idiotic. I have friends that do it and every time I'm in the car with them i feel like my life is hanging by a thread. It's stupid and selfish to endanger your life and everyone else's for the sake of your own stupid shallow conversations.

Don't Let Jon and Kate Teach Your Kids About Divorce
Your Comments:The reality is that children don't watch the TLC channel, and, even if they did, it's important that children know what divorce is because they're gonna face it in the real world. Fifty five per cent of marriages end in divorce, and children need to know about it, or else they're gonna be really confused, like I was, when they figure out what it is. That having been said, divorce should never be the standard, and these people should not be role models.

Help! My G-Rated Kids Want to See PG-13 Transformers
Your Comments:If its violence you're worried about, don't be. The Transformers franchise greatly sanitizes the violence to the point where essentially no blood is shown. Even if it wasn't sanitized, most of the violence is robot-on-robot or human-on-robot. There is some robot-on-human and really no human-on-human. The sexual content and language is really the only thing to watch out for. You can hear worse language at school from the time you're in sixth or seventh grade, that's not really much to worry about. The sexual content, however, is another story. Being a practicing Christian, this offends me slightly more than it would most parents, but there are some needlessly provocative scenes, sex jokes that aren't even very well thought out, and one scene of Megan Fox running in slow-motion in a low cut shirt which I found to be in bad taste. I am actually ashamed to be in the demographic that this movie was aimed at, teenage boys. It was hoping to appeal to the horny crowd, which it did a pretty good job of, as my friends were very impressed with it. It's really not that good a film, anyway, so if you're kids miss it, they're not missing much.

Should "Sexting" Be Illegal?
Your Comments:Sending these messages is a sign of an immoral child. If your kid is doing this then they're probably well on their way to being sexually promiscuous, or already are. That being said, overcrowding our prisons with children who like to look at each other naked, or like to be seen naked is not the answer. Perhaps a misdemeanor that results in a fine...
