How about, you be a real parent, and don't trust everything you hear on the internet(especially this website.) Most of the facts that these people have about video games are false. There have been multiple studies that show that gaming does not induce any violent behavior. Although games just like any other type of media (books, movies, music) can sometimes be draining as all your thought pours into them. Online gaming is another thing. Of course if your kid is on Xbox Live there is some language tossed around, but why do people today got at such lengths to shelter their children. Don't get me started on Self-esteem. What really irks me is that in the video these people show, they show the Wii mingle mode. All that is is sharing your Miis with other people that have to be on your Wii online contact list. Also the only game that supports online chat on the Wii is Animal Crossing! Nothing else! I don't know it just seems that this is the movement of the new era of control. Well, I feel like playing some online Grand Theft Auto 4 while watching A Clockwork Orange.
