Let's Stop Inappropriate Movie Trailers
Your Comments:When my children were little, we went to see The Santa Clause 2, and the trailers were so scary we had to leave before seeing the movie (and I demanded my money back from the theater manager who tried to give me credit for the movie instead). One trailer was for a Lord of the Rings movie, and we had to cover the girls eyes - but the sounds were scary, too. Another trailer was for the movie "Phone Booth", a violent movie that was rated R. I don't know what the trailer was rated - but it was too loud and scary for small kids. If a movie is rated G or PG, trailers like that should not be shown, even if it's approved for "all audiences". Whoever approves these things must not have small children. In fact, the PG-13 rating system is a joke.
