What My Kids Love Now
5-year-old -- Movies/Shows: Teen Titans, Ben 10, Clone Wars, Cars. Books: Dr. Seuss, Winnie the Pooh, Mo Willems books, Little Bear. Video Games: Spore, Nick Jr. website, Starfall website
House Rules
Per day, we limit TV to about an hour (once in a while more for a movie) and video games to about an hour. Since school started, it's usually one or the other on weekdays, more lax on weekends.
When the Kids Are Asleep…
TV like Lost, Fringe, Dollhouse, plus Top Chef, Survivor, Project Runway. Some games, too, mostly fantasy or scifi or strategy.
