Your Comments:Every parent should definitely take a look at their kids' text messages from time to time. Too many parents want to be their kids' best friend and want their kids to think they are cool and get upset if their kid is mad at them. That is ok. I am a parent of 4 kids and I will definitely check the email, text messages and everything else when I feel the need. That is my duty as a parent.
