What My Kids Love Now
Our kids (5 and 2) love to watch Little Bear, Franklin, Dragon Tales, and Backyardigans together.
House Rules
We restrict screen time to an hour a day. We encourage our kids to play with each other indoors and out, and we often play with them. Our older child reads and has an hour of quiet self-play each day.
When the Kids Are Asleep…
Watching reality shows, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, and Lost. And of course movies that aren't cartoons...
My Biggest Challenge Is:
Educating our grandmother that screen time should be restricted. She'd let the kids play with the Wii or iPhone all day if she could.
