I personally find the value of YouTube not in the movie trailers or music videos (although some of the homemade music videos are quite amusing) but in the many How-To, Tips-and-Tricks, and short lessons on everything from beginner guitar to programming soft synths in digital audio workstations.

Of course the majority of popular YouTube content is insipid trash (much like television) but there is definitely valuable stuff out there if you are willing to look for it. Remember - Google (or Bing if you prefer) is your friend.

Youtube is a great site! It has all kinds of movies, trailers, episodes, some help, and all kinds of other entertainment. Like for example if you need help on a video game, there is always somebody who posted a video that will help you. If you want to catch up on the latest gossip or news, youtube is there for you! If you are bored and have nothing to do, you can either listen to music or watch episodes of your favorite TV shows. You can even comment about the video and tell them your opinion!

If you don't have something better to do, you could always keep up with celebrity gossip – like this whole thing over whether Tyra Banks is engaged or not. Tyra Banks herself denied it – she isn't engaged to boyfriend John Utendahl, and on her Twitter page declared that the ring she wears is her high school graduation ring. (Some are surprised she's graduated high school.) So now that the discussion is over – go out and do something. Take in a movie. Learn a new skill. Who knows – maybe even meet some new people. Possibly even a member of the opposite sex. Stop caring about Tyra Banks and find some
money to lend yourself for your own fun. Read more click http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/09/01/john-utendahl-tyra-ba...

What's the point of putting up trailers when their usually already on their weeks before this site does? Oh, I know, its to get a higher audience of easily persuadable parents and make them dictate their kid's media usage unfairly and inform them of false or merely assumed reports of "violent media makes your teens start real life violent acts! Stop your teens from exposure to these horrible things!". What a shock. Even my father agrees that most of what sites like these are trying to feed into parents' heads is nonsense.
