Frankly, this is the only website out there that actually hits a very specific demographic - inventive kids. The tools are not for game-playing, they are for brainstorming. Kids who are inventive are typically deep-thinking and the site gives them not only a place to store their ideas, but also a place to get feedback. Parental approval is only needed for the feedback portion. The competitions provide a valuable connection to real life rewards. For my inventive kid, this site is a must.

What Parents Need to Know
About BKFK
Parents need to know that at the time of review, the one competition on the site was closed, although the online entry blank was still available. It should have been removed as well. Much of the information on this site should be available without registration. The online invention diary is the only thing that needs personalization.
