Parents need to know
Families can talk about why a site like this exists. Who is benefiting from getting young teen boys hooked on this kind of material (especially the soft porn videos and photos) and how do they do it? With older teens, you may want to discuss the prevalence and dangers of Internet pornography and the social problem of pornography addiction.
Message
Social Behavior:
Even the site creators admit the site is full of "jackass opinions" about video games, tech, news, sports, and "boobs."
Consumerism:
No outright ads, but there are links in posts that accompany videos, which include promos to The Hustler Club, Deja Vu Showgirls, casinos, racetracks, etc.
Drugs/Alcohol/Tobacco:
References to drug use at concerts. A concerned warning about not getting too heavily into drugs and partying if you decide to "break into the porn industry."
Educational Value:
The sexism on this site, coupled with the porn industry "jokes" far outweigh any educational value teens may get about sports, media reviews, or new video games.
Violence
A lot of talk about Grand Theft Auto IV and other violent video games and comics. One of the producers of this site played GTA IV for 28 hours in a live Internet world-record stunt.
Sex
The first-ever "how to" video posted here was "How to Break into the Porn Industry." There are photos of completely nude women, with small icons over breasts and genitals. Writers talk about sexual acts explicitly. Porn stars are featured in some videos. Writing about "boobs" and women in derogatory ways is common in posts.
Language
Many swear words, including "f--k" and "s--t." Of more concern is the language commonly used here to talk about women, who are typically not much more than body parts.
