Enchanted Learning, an old-timer on the Internet scene, has been expanding its offerings since 2002. While most of the content is free, it is a member-supported site. Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about how kids can find their way around Web sites. Since this site doesn't have a navigation bar, parents can show kids how to use their browser's back and forward buttons and can point out the site's index, which provides an alphabetical list of topics covered. Families can also talk about why using a site that has pre-screened information might be easier and safer than finding the information using a search engine.

Excellent Resource...
I LOVE this site! Not only did I add this to my homeschool resources but I even subscribed! Great for 4 and up! Excellent for learning vocabulary as well as dictionary/encyclopedia skills, and completing web quests. VERY INFORMATIVE!!! Like an encyclopedia for kids! Mix this with a talking browser and it can't be beat.
