This is a great site to teach kids about the environment. Funny and educational, but not preachy.

What Parents Need to Know
About HippoWorks
Parents need to know that some of the visuals here might disturb sensitive kids. The Extinction Game is like "Hangman." Players guess letters to complete a word. Winners "save" the cute Siberian tiger, while losers see an increasingly distressed animal turn into a pile of bones, one wrong letter at a time.

I think this is a great website for kids and people of all ages. The cartoonlets make you think about eco and animal issues without being preachy. I like the range of humor too--a lot of it is just for laughs.

Great wildlife website!
As a teacher, I think this website is a great introduction to conservation issues. It entertains as it informs. Please be aware the site does have a "store" page where you can order merchandise.
