One of the most charming areas of the site is "Hop Pop Town," meant for the smallest Internet adventurers. For parents, the site's best feature may be the restrictions it puts on who can sign up and what information is displayed. While some sections list email addresses alongside kids' submissions, site guidelines require that these addresses be those of parents or caretakers, not the kids themselves. Similarly, in the "Kids' Space Connection" area -- where kids can find pen pals -- parents or guardians must register for the service for kids. And the actual child-to-child communication uses an internal Kids' Space mailing system, adding another layer of privacy.
