What’s the Story?

Otto the Auto wants to teach kids about safety: how to cross a street, the importance of wearing a bike helmet, and lots more. Explore the Village and see what surprises you can find. Otto's Garage has an extensive story-writing activity. Sophie's Lighthouse is the place to go to "see the light" about helmet and bicycle safety. Safety Hopscotch challenges players to hop only onto the squares showing safe behavior. If you hop on the right squares all the way to the other side, you win. And on the Beltway, you'll sit in on a rock concert featuring catchy tunes and safety karaoke for seatbelt-savvy kids.

Is It Any Good?

Sometimes it's not always clear what players are supposed to do in each section. Always look for the question mark button and click there to get the instructions for the area you're visiting.

As you visit each section of the site be sure to try clicking on all the pictures. Some of them hold animated surprises -- but beware. Only one animation can run at a time so encourage your child to wait until one picture stops moving before she clicks on the next one.
