    The site has a Kitty Shop, where you can purchase the latest design in Hello Kitty shirts (although at the time of writing, they were no longer taking orders because of a huge preorder backlog). There's also a page that lists retail shops that sell all things Hello Kitty and Sanrio, but, oddly enough, none were listed for the U.S.

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    Not an issue.
 

What Parents Need to Know

About SanrioTown

Parents need to know that this site allows kids to participate in a large online community, and although the forum filters out common swear words, Sanrio doesn't heavily regulate what can be posted. But most of the content is safe -- and even a little boring -- and any inappropriate content can be easily reported. The weird thing is that the site attracts two very different mindsets who seem to happily coexist: Young kids who love Hello Kitty and want to play games and older teens who love Hello Kitty and want to post photos and socialize.
