VMK seeks trained server specialists. Must have great amount of patience..
Disneylands first MMORPG is beautiful in it's look, fun in it's quests and games, but needs some serious attention paid to the increasing amount of lag from the 3000+ players online at most times. No doubt their server specialists are trying thier best, but the frustration of crossing fingers that the initial loading or updating completes while guessing how long your session will last before seeing 'vmk has crashed' and then having to wait several minutes to hit the (not) ok button. Perhaps I should apply... Despite the lagginess, VMK shines as a true representation of the Disney Spirit! (was that more than 200 words?)

Kids using this site need adult supervision
There's quite a few things parents should know. Sex: Other kids create rooms where people can "Get a bay be" Guys ask girls to be their girlfriends. There's never anything explict, but still. Violence: None. Language: Language is the worst. People "dictionary dance" all the time. I've been called a "beach" for no reason. There were more instances involving other words, but I forget. Drugs/Alcohol: None. Commercialism: Basically, it's one big ad for Disney. Social Behavior: People may try to scam others, and as I said before there's a lot of cursing and some sexual content. Educational Value: Teaches kids about earning and saving money for items, but the risks outweigh the eduactional value.

My bro made a mistake, and they banned him for eleven years. Oh, correction, the IP address. So I can't log in anymore, though I did nothing. I pleaded them to let me back in. I loved that game. Now I can't play it. And by the time eleven years are up, it would be inappropiate for me to play.

Not the best, but still very good
VMK has some really good qualities to it. However, there isn't enough content to keep it interestng for a long time. Sometimes I log back on every once in a while to check out some new stuff, but eventually it all gets old. The social behavior isn't really all that positive in the game. You get get boyfriends/girlfriends (taken), and for some kids, that is not age appropriate. Also, some people scam, etc. Overall, however, this game is okay for more kids, and is very good, but the novelty eventually wears off.

Experience Disneyland.... from your own bedroom!
I am a regular player on Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK). It's so fun. The only bad thing is it can get addictive. That's because it's so enjoyable. Once in a while a player will be rude and mean, but the VMK Staff (the people who run/created VMK) always ban rude or innapropriate players. You will find the "taken" thing a lot, too. Players virtually go out with other players. Some players give each other "misses", which is code word for kisses. The players often dodge around the dictonary, the words their allowed to say, and make up code names for other words. Players used to use the word "beach" for "b***h". The VMK staff banned people who used the words and banned the word itself. Other than that, VMK is a wonderful place. I have been playing VMK for a few years, and I'd never go back to Milsberry! (LOL) Please, with a parents permission. make file today! :)

Fantastic Fun, But...
I can be honest with you, this site is fun and cute. My younger siblings and I all love it. You can meet some really great 'online friends' too. But,.. no matter how safe they make it by filtering any word that may be used in an inappropriate way, if there's an open chat, there will always be some kids who can figure out a way to write ANYTHING. My little sibling once told me that a girl came up to them and called them a "Less. be. an." and a boy had walked up to me and said "Cute as. -hits but-". You CAN report them and the staff will most likely bann them for life, but parents should really think about the risk of little kids reading something like that. If you're willing to take the rare chance, go for it! It's an awesome site!

ok, ppl let's get this straight. vmk is a great place and i love it so much! so what if vmk always crashes? and the ppl who reviewed it before me and said anything bad about about it have NO LIFE vmk is so much fun and everyone should go on! it's so much better than nicktropolis! believe me! there's trading, games, credits, virtual avatars ( that look so cute! ) and rooms! ppl vmk is the best, and it will always be number one no matter what! VMK ROCKS!!!

Mean and rude people takes over fun VMK
VMK is a great site. Great rides, games, and more! However, people are rude. They're nice to you in Day 1. However, as you get older in VMK, let's say if you're 8 you begin to cry to your mom. Many people are cruel. They say you're ugly and stupid. They kick out of your room for NO reason. Although kids can't say bad words, they can put words together. Yesterday, a girl put two words to spell the b word. Sex is also a issue. When I was new, two kids pretend to have labor. Also, some shirts show your belly button. In conclusion, I love VMK but I don't recommned it to kids under 12.

Not so Good
Even though it has filters people manage to get pass the filters. One user said to me "Let's do it and have kids" another room full of people were talking avout someone being gray (gay)and others say "nice but (butt)". I also feel VMK advertises too much.

virtual magic kingdom - vmk - is a very good game. u can meet with players all around the world but u can't give any personal info and can't curse. the only thing is, it's very addicting

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!! I have have played on this website for about a month and i see no problems with it. The only thing is, though,is that when your kid plays on this website she or he might get addicted to DisneyWorld (mainly the Magic Kingdom).

Great Game, Great Fun
This game is a parents dream! The chat is controlled by a dictionary so there is no curseing, you can't type in your phone number (it won't go through). Has nothing harmful. This game also teaches how to manage money (credits) too!

Perfect For Tweens!
I've been playing VMK from the beginning, and I have loved it. It allows just enough interaction with others so players can't get board. The mini-games are only about 20% of the fun! There is trading, and player-created games, and friends you can hang out with. My two best friends also play, and we love being able to interact online. Also, you can't possibly use bad language, because only certain words are allowed. Its perfect for tweens and teens, probably ages 11-14.
