As an Advisory Member of Allykatzz, as well as a longtime member, Allykatzz was AMAZING through my tween years. Allykatzz is definetly a unique website because it's safe . . . Meanies definetly aren't tolerated, and the advice and support from girl to girl is great! Sure, there's some tweenage blabber, but the amazing part is the social networking where you can have a blog, chat with other girls through messages called Shout Outs, have fun, and give and get great advice on a bunch of topics. I've also made a couple of great online friends through Allykatzz, and it is one of the best websites for tween and teen girls I have ever seen or heard of on the internet!
When I aways wake up on a new day I think it is going to be a good day and I like when you get to write about your feelings and some one can help you with your problems.
I LOVE AllyKatzz*. It's SOOO much safer than other blogging and stuff websites. Everyone really helps out when you're angry or sad. It's really awesome.
I've been a member of Allykatzz since I was in the 5th grade, now a freshman in high school, I'm on the advisory board for the site, and recommend it to all tween and teen girls. It's a great place to connect, express your opinions and ideas, and let your voice be heard. It's very safe, and appropriate for young and older girls. It's easy to make new friends that share your interests, learn new things, and help girls, get/give advice. Blogging is a great way for girls to get their feelings out and get other girls opinions on subjects that matter to them. The advertising is targeted towards our age group, but for the most part I think the advertisements are useful, and interesting products. I give this website 5 stars and recommend parents and kids to check it out! Allykatzz is the first and last website I log on and off of when on the computer.
My daughter has been on this site for a couple years now. It certainly isn't Facebook or Myspace but instead an age appropriate version of such. I've tried twice now to join and because I'm apparently not 10-15 I get booted each time. I like that. However if I have a concern, there is an email address just for parents to find out what their kid is doing! No photos of faces allowed, and all posted material is reviewed before it is approved to post. So, no bullying, no bad language, no dangerous language, etc. No personal information. I like that!
I love this site!!!!!! It is really close-knit and you can feel like the other girls are your friends. I joined Allykatzz when I was 9 and again when I was 11. It is a super great site. You can be a Girl Reporter and I asked my dad to print the application today. There is also a Yearly Delegate Summit where tween girls can meet in NYC and talk about their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
You can blog and make your own polls and post pics. They have someone who checks everything you post, and most of the girls there are really nice! Also there is a cancer club started by an eleven-year-old girl that raises money and awareness for serious illnesses.
I think every girl who wants to be heard and to have fun would really enjoy Allykatzz. That's why if you are a tween girl, ages 9-14,you should JOIN!
I LOVE this site! I just signed up last nite, and I love the blogging feature. I've always wanted one, and this one is perfect. I love it all! I would definetley reccomend it.
This is GREAT!!!! This is a great site because when you're feeling sad,you know there'll be girls willing to help you! And it's great to share your opinions too, because there are plenty of girls who'll agree with you! Also,I love how decoritave you can be with your page! The coolest feature on the site is...The White House Wall! The messages on here will be sent straight to the President! How cool is that??
And,the site is safe. College studednts review EVERY post before it goes online. Plus, girls aren't allowed to post pictures of their faces, unlike moost sites!
I like this website. You can read stories and secrets from other girls. Really cool! My only problem is that they ask for your zip code when you sighn up... So I'm hesitating on making an account.
