For the latter, you'll be agreeing to give lots of demographic data about your tastes in music, what you buy, and more -- or face being dropped from the team.
What's it about?
For Ashlee Simpson fans, this site features more than 200 photos in her gallery, multiple entries in her "diary," and a list of news releases and upcoming cover stories.
Is it any good?
Ashlee Simpson may be a very nice person, and she may even have some talent, but you wouldn't know it from this site. Most of the content is blocked from the casual user and does not open until you've registered for the site. This is not the way to make friends, although it's a very good way to harvest names, addresses, phone numbers, and even mobile phone numbers. Watch out. By giving them your mobile number, you agree that they can send you SMS text messages on your cell phone.
There is also a music video of "La-La" with its suggestive lyrics:
