Perfect for people who can take bullying
You know what? On this site no one lets you have an opinion on things. You say a game is overrated or not good and people explode at you. You get banned for posting something in the wrong topic by accident.

Cyber-bullying galore- not for kids
Gamespot was a great website a few years ago. But now, with very few filters and ads all over the place, it has become a rather poor website to visit. I can't say it isn't addicting, because it is. But with a huge cyber-bullying threat, who cares? If your kid is begging for an account on this site, say no. It's definetly not for younger kids, and tweens should stay away too. The worst thing about GS though is the shallow and boring user-created content. The blog options aren't anything to write home about, and profling is a large waste of time. Searching for friends isn't hard, but you have to be careful who you contact. Remember, usernames and blogs can be misleading. Overall, I don't think Gamespot will ever fully be the website that it was a little while ago- fun and ad-free.

A good game site
This site is good, and while it does tend to encourage certain things, it's all from a gamers perspective. As long as you can separate fact from fiction, you can play any game. True, the game does display certain less appropriate imagery but, without that, how would you know it's there? The whole idea of the site is to tell you about games. If it didn't include all the details, and wasn't written by someone who enjoys the game, every review would read exactly the same and would likely be biased, sort of like this site.

Good site for game reviews
I think this is a great site to go for game reviews. There is, of course, screenshots of games, some of which are violent.

Good For Video Games just depends on what your lookin' for.
Good for Video Game News and Updates but Some Games and news for those games can be violent, or sexual or just adult Basiclly its safe as long as they don't chat on the fourms with any one. That's All Folks.

videogame database is good for tweens, but when it comes to younger kids, parents should do the research
This is a good website if you're interested in gaming because of the large amount of information it holds. It has reviews for practically every major game on every console and includes walkthroughs, gameplay videos, and screenshots for many games. Of course, you will end up finding content (videos, pictures) for the games that are being reviewed, But they generally show the less violent parts of the game. A good feature is they make you input your birthday if you want to watch movies of rated m games, but it is easy to lie. So if you wouldn't want your kid getting any exposure to say, god of war or grant theft auto, Then you should probably keep your kid away from that site.
