What to watch out for

  • Messages:

    This site focuses solely on celebrities. While there is news about their talent, latest work projects, and awards, there's also a lot of emphasis on All Things Hollywood: Appearance, on-again off-again dating, bad behavior, and mega-consumerism.

  • Violence:

    Discussion about celebrities' run-ins with the law for things like assault.

  • Sex:

    General celeb relationship talk, but no suggestive photos. There are ads for products and television shows that deal with more blatant sexual content, like how to nab a guy and extramarital affairs.

  • Language:

    Not an issue.

  • Consumerism:

    The site's contest prizes often include expensive consumer items that famous starlets wear or use. It's ad supported, so there's lots of regular ads as well, for everything from Kaplan University to a newsletter called "Make Him Fall for You."

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    No overt references to drugs, alcohol or tobacco. But there's "news" and photos about young celebrities going out to party at clubs with "open bars."
