Parents need to know that this video-sharing portal for kids features kid-friendly homemade videos by kids. Every movie is previewed before posting and must have only G-rated material, i.e., nothing offensive, commercial, or copyrighted. If kids want to do more than watch and share videos, they need to register, which requires a kid and parent's email address (parents activate accounts by clicking on an email link).
Educational value:Tips on making movies and how to use various equipment for recording. A list of moviemaking schools and camps is also provided.
Positive messages:Comments on videos are monitored and need to be positive or at least constructive.
Violence:Lightsabers used in one movie; scary music and masks worn in others.
Sex:In one movie a girl is called "yummy" when she walks into the room.
I tried this site and its like Youtube execpet a littlew bit kid friendly. If you are 12 and up, Youtube is beter for you. This site is strict about what you put on. Its more of a kid friendly site.
