Perfect for ages 15+
I Checked out meez WHILE my child was active on it and theres absolutely NOTHING wrong with the site its how you let YOUR child use it. for instance, if you use profanity your account will be bannedd.! if you use any sexual behavior your account will be BANNED. the do not even use alcoholic beverages on this website so whoever thought it was smart to say they did..is wrong.. now the outfits they wear are OKAY. your child doesnt wear this stuff in real life do they.? No, because they cant.so i see nothing wrong with it. and they people who run meez are very strict about these things. i think meez is the MOST approriate site for children 15+ beacause all the rest of that myspace and facebook is worse so..let them have their fun on meez. it age appropriate~!

kaykay789456123 First of all, The Boobies! Shirt, supports breast cancer. So its not Yuck! at all. Anyways People under the age of 13 arn't even supposed to be on meez. Theres fakes, creepers and mostly everything there is. But you find that everywhere on the internet. You have to be careful. Dont ever trust anyone on this site. I think the age limit is 15-19. You do get banned for stupid things, but you shouldnt be saying/or doing any of that stuff anyways. I personally think its stupid to buy virtual things, but mostly every website does that. Its not a "scam" when they automatically charge your credit card every month because it does they will do it, until it was canceled. Ive met good friends on this site, but yes it has lots of drama, you'll just have to learn to ignore it. Theres also lots of educational games, and if you dont want to spend real money, play games. and get coinz, but when it comes to chatting and it being educational, its a fail. Unless you're talking to a professor or something.... The clothes are inappropriate, The have now the "push up bra", they have stripper clothes, The censored items, Its kinda like Sims. Hence Kinda. When it comes to the clothes.

Well, I've been on meez for 2 years. And Out of both of those years I've been through more then 5 meezes. Why? Because I've either got hacked or banned for life. Meez is a total scam, and its only there so that people can spend there money on a virtual website, and get banned or hacked. The Thing about this site that is fun howevever, is that you get to meet people through the virtual site, and make online friends. But there are some bad things about this site. First of all, they have TOO MANY glitches. They have browser exploit, I've seen some people complain about viruses. Money Scam, and it is not very appropriate. I've seen people ask to have sex through the internet. I also agree with some of the comments menttioned about "commiting suicide", over the internet. This is a site that I would recommend for more older kids. 13 and Down don't even risk. But 13 to 14 just isnt the right age. This is a very risky site, and they have many people on the internet trying to figure out where you live. this site isn't really a great site. I've spent tons of money, and all they do is ban you after you spend your money. I've seen tons of people get banned for some stupid reason, and they didn't do anything. Website contains ; viruses, glitches, spyware, adware, scams, browser exploit and many more.

Great PG13+ Site, But Younger Teens Should Have Proper Parental Guidance!
I've been using meez for two and a half years now. I'll share a little of my experiences, and what I know about the site. Meez itself is a PG13+ site (meaning, it's aimed at users who are 13+, and users under the age of 13 are not allowed on the site). There two main sections of the site; a forum section (like a message board) and 'Meez Nation', somewhat of a miniature world composed of virtual chat rooms. In addition to this, there are also user profile pages and mini avatars which users can customize. The forum section has various subjects in which users can post and discuss things, such as music, fashion, and sports. There are rules to using the forums, of course, which are more strict than many other forum sites. Rudeness, bullying, and bashing new users is not allowed, hate speech of any form is not allowed (this includes racism, homophobic hate speech, and discrimination against gender or ethnicity), and the use of explicit profanity is not allowed. There are built in filters to try and censor some of the curse words. If a user tries to get around these filters by spelling a curse word slightly different, for instance, they can (and should) be reported for breaking the rules so a site administrator can fix the problem and apply the appropriate punishment (often times warning or temporary ban). There is zero tolerance for adult content, and if any user is found posting or promoting such material, they will be permanently banned from the site. This also includes cybersex or sexual messages. 'Meez Nation' has various 'hoods', as they're called, each of which have different rooms. The rules in these rooms are very much the same as the forums, with an exception to curse words and rudeness (like namecalling). The reason for this is because of option to ignore users. If someone is being rude or cursing too much, you can simply click on that person's username and select 'ignore'. From that point on, anything an ignored user says will not show up on your screen. That being said, hate speech, cyber sex, asking for a person's phone number or address, asking for someone's account information, or being under 13 is strictly prohibited. Anyone found breaking these rules should be reported, which can be done by click on that users name and choosing 'Report Abuse'. The profile pages are pretty simple; basic information such as age and the time a person joined meez is displayed. Additional information can be added by the user; things such as hometown, school or job info, and an open-ended 'about me' section. There's also a media box at the bottom of the profile page, where things such as pictures and videos can be added. It's important to note that the media box is modified via html coding. The forum rules apply to profile pages. Users can also choose from three levels of profile page privacy - public (everyone can see), friends-only (only people on a users friends list can see), and private (only the user themself can see). And finally, there is the 'MeezMaker', where a user can dress up their meez however he or she wants. There is quite a variety of dress styles to choose from, ranging from silly costumes to real-life apparel (even some premium name-brand items). There are a LOT of items standard users can choose from, many of which are free, and then there are some premium items which can only be bought if a user is a VIP or bought with 'meez cash' (VIP and meez cash can only be bought via actual money). To say that some of the dress items are sexually provocative is going a little too far, considering the meez avatars are nothing more than cartoons and often times do not represent a user themself. The Bottom Line: Meez is a great site for teens who are 13 or older *with parental guidance*. There is only so much websites can do. A lot of the responsibility, if not most, falls into the hands of parents. There are moderators (called mentors) and administrators who very frequently patrol meez to make sure things are safe for the users, but there's no possible way for them to be everywhere 24/7, or for them to know everything that every user is doing or saying. Parents need to step up to the plate and know what their kids are doing and that they are posting on any website. Meez has a lot of potential for users meeting new friends and having fun!

Meez* isn't a very great website.
I hate it. It's a horrible website run by horrible people. My son showed me some of the messages he's received in his personal room mailbox, and after I saw it, I made him delete his account. I suggest you don't let your kids use this website.

I'd say to be 16 and up because Meez profiles can have pretty nasty words. I've been on some pages that say niggers. But they can't say that so they spell it like this. (Ni99az) Some of the Meez are really cranky and rude. They insult you when you come up to them. Kids that are 15 and under should certainly not hear that innapropiate language. The other thing is that they dress like half of their brain cells are gone. They have full body tattoos, blank eyes, and etc. There are really violent and sexual themes on there. You can get stalked easily on there. Mostly teen girls post half nude pictures of themselves on their media box. They say words that annoy me like, meh, imma, and iight. It's even been passed on to smaller children on Club Penguin. If you are a parent and your kid ask's about going on this website, don't say yes because there is too many stalkers, bad language, innapropiate clothing, etc. If they try to go on it every time, I would get Parental Controls and block it. This website encourages too much sexual things, drugs, drinking, etc.

Meez.
Well, My kids have been on Meez since 08. And there's a possibility that if the meez managers can put a little more effort just for the violence. Im fine with it, and I buy my kids Meez cash, VIP, Coinz. A month. Well, meez is also unfair, that whenever you buy something from it, it bans you forever. That's not the right way of treating kids, teens. When they spend their money on these stupid things, BOOM!!!! it's gone from the parents credit card. Thats I had had to say for these people on Meez. Thank You!

If I had a kid I REALLY wouldn't let my 13/14 and under child play this game. I think this game should be for 15yrs and older because the young ones like 12yr olds are so immature they will literally come up to you and say your ugly and call you the B word or the H word. From my weeks of playing this game I STILL havent seen a person older than 14 do that to me. Plus it pressure younger girls in this game to dress naked and be skinny since every other girl around has those kind of avatar and you might be called 'ugly' or 'fat B' if you dont dress similar. So its really not a good game to express yourself, its like you have to be part of a FAD to be accepted. Plus if a person is naive enough (mostly the younger kids) they would get their password stolen because people in this game are CONSTANT at that, they promise to give you coinz/hair/clothes for your pass. I really dont like they way meez bribe players in the game that cant buy coinz to take surveys that mostly all has to involve personal information such as credit card for coinz. Not only that alot of the guys are incredibility rude and close minded they are also quick to call you a B and ugly. older guys date 11yr olds and dont care. Plus guys in this game are ALWAYS cheating, never in my life have I played an online social game that has SO many cheating and rude guys! Meez LET people say the B word and the A word H word and the D word. I dont understand why, did they really stoop down that low just to be "cool"? I also tried to report some people; I tried to report this user for being rude and a automated response came up and said I have no evidence to report her..... What? I did have evidence... I also tried to report this user for promoting gangs he said he was a apart of a gang, so I went to his profile and reported since everything on there talked about his gang. Meez moderator said I had no proof! Which is odd. Just look at his profile! I only reported for the safety of the meez users because I dont want any gang violence. But meez is too focus on being "cool" to even remove his account so they turn a blind eye.

NOT in any of my pleasure.
I no longer visit this site. It's full of swearing mostly...and also be warned that in any room with a remote that can stream to YouTube, X-rated videos could pop up in a second. Do not play this game unwarned.
