So I was reading the other reviews and their all negative. I personally find this a great site, Its easy to search people and area to find people to talk to and able to read profile info to know if they may like that person. So I have asperger syndrome, if anyone knows what that is, so this makes socializing easier for me. yes there may be adults or sexually active teens on there, but if you're able to make a teen socializing site without any of that, please do. I think the bad reviews are to do with the vast amount of unsuitable people on the site, but that's something all websites will have. There are ways to prevent this by blocking, ignoring etc. there is nothing wrong with this site. I would say that it would be better for those who know a predator when they see one. Every site has there ups and downs, MyLol is I believe still being developed, so naturally there will be more downs then ups, but they will be fixed, and their easy to overcome. Why should the site handle everything, why not be a little more careful, it helps, a lot. Been with MyLol for around 2-3 years now.

Its a horrible website my daughter has her own laptop and i happen to look at it and there had been guys sending her their numbers,well i decided to call them and I could have swore they were grown men I had asked her how old are they? Her response was 13 or 14. I watched a chat room and there were bad launguage and horrible things a 13 year old doesnt need to know. if your ok with having them on this site be aware!!

I've only been a member of MyLOL for about a year, but that's more than enough time to realize that it's not for everyone. You have to be 13 to join the site, and I think people should take this into their own consideration, because some kids are a little more mature than others. If your 13 year old son or daughter is still laughing at swear words (a little extreme, but it definitely happens), then he/she is probably still in a sort of phase where they can be strongly influenced by others and what they say and do, and they shouldn't be on this website. If not, then swearing isn't really that big of a problem. But it happens. As far as sexual content, it's pretty well-restricted. Besides perverts asking if anyone wants to "get dirty", which is easy to avoid, there's not much to worry about. There are loads of insanely annoying ads on MyLOL, but who cares, they're everywhere. People do talk about drugs and alcohol in the chat rooms and whatnot, but you can easily click "ignore" and never have to hear from the idiot ever again. I wouldn't get involved with the chat rooms to begin with. Most of the people there are morons, anyway. I also see people complaining about getting banned. If you and your sister (just an example) share a desktop computer and are both accused of being fake, just post something called a "proof picture". What you do is, you take a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper. On that piece of paper, you write your username, MyLOL.net, and the date and time. In the example situation I just explained, you could each make a sign and be in the same picture, to prove that you're sisters. And it also helps to stay out of chat rooms if you think people might accuse you of being fake. The administrator sometimes hangs around in there and sometimes checks people's profiles and ip's. It may not be as advanced as other online communities like facebook or myspace, but it's a nice virtual escape from your hometown. As long as you're not giving your personal information like there's no tomorrow, you'll be safe and able to enjoy the site. Thanks for reading my long-ass review! ^-^

I've been a member of MyLOL for about three-four years and so far, I've had a great time on the site. I've met several amazing people over the years that I'm still in contact with. The one reason I think it may get bad ratings is because anyone can create account with a false age. I think there should be an age limit, that way if the minimum age requirement won't be such an issue due to older people being on the site. I also think those that make an account on here should take into consideration on what information to give out. It's a concern of mine that the people of MyLOL give too much information out at times and it can get them into some deep trouble. I think it's the people, not the actual website, that makes it have somewhat of a "bad" image. Also, members should take into account that you should be mature and have fun but don't become immature with the site and start uncalled for fights. It results in too many more terrible issues that are unnecessary.

I believe mylol is the place to go if you have a problem with actual people, where you can go and not be judged (in a way) I will make the point that if you're socially immature, you probably shouldn't be on this site. This is a site where teenagers, can come to socalize, not 10 year olds. If you have a problem with it, just use a site blocker.

this site izint any good if your under the age of 16. it has sex, swearing, and drinking. *note if your 16 yrs old* if your 16 and u use this site, u should allways go with a friend,a sister, pr a older cousin. there is a lot of men on this site.
