Parents need to know that One True Media is an entertaining site where people can create their own personalized movie montages by uploading photos, videos, and adding music. Some of the user-created montages in the online gallery contain violent or sexual content, as well as issues with language, drinking, drugs, or smoking. Free accounts include up to 30 seconds of online sharing; users must upgrade to a premium account for $3.99 a month to get unlimited downloading and additional online sharing time. Users can also purchase DVDs of their montages.

ONE TRUE MEDIA gives families an enjoyable way to savor and share special moments and memories, and it's something parents and kids can do together. The focus is on creating, but there's also an online gallery for viewing user-submitted montages. Parents concerned about the iffy content in the gallery will want to monitor younger users.

The main downside for One True Media is that your activity is very limited with a free account. But, it's very easy to use, so a premium membership may be worth it for families or teens who want to be able to create their own montages and share them but don't necessarily have the technical skills to pull it off using video editing software.

13?!?! I've been using One True Media since I was 7 or 8! It's not at all inappropriate!
