What to talk about

Talk to your kids
Families can talk about the Oscars. What makes a movie or performance Oscar-worthy? What do you like (or dislike) about watching the awards? Who would you thank in your acceptance speech?

Is it any good?

Is it any good?

Visitors looking for the scoop on this year's awards won't find much here -- Oscars.org focuses more on the Academy's history, resources, and programs. There are cool photos and video clips from events and exhibitions, but there's not much interactivity -- except for the Oscars Designer Challenge, which encourages visitors to select an evening gown for one of the night's award escorts. However, the site deserves a big round of applause for its Teacher's Guide series, which includes educational activities for aspiring filmmakers.
