Are online games and websites OK for preschoolers?

When considering online games and websites for kids, keep three things in mind: They can't read, they can't type, and they're little sponges, absorbing whatever they see. So it's really important to avoid frustration and meltdowns by finding kids' websites that suit their skill levels.

A good place to start: Look for a site like PBSkids.org that will stimulate and educate your preschoolers. But keep an eye on the clock. Never more than half an hour at a time.
