Sorry, I couldn't resist. But, in all seriousness, "Suddenly Darling" is probably the most wholesome, squeaky-clean "fashion and style" website around. While the site has lots of "omg! that hair is, like, so totally cute!"-type content, it always encourages young girls to be modest and never objectify themselves. The "Christian" stuff is pretty forced and unnecessary, however. The site would have been more appealing if it didn't try to incorporate religion into fashion. Still, the messages on this site apply to anyone, regardless of religion. The site teaches self-esteem, modesty, and self-respect - which, yet again, transcend religion and apply to everyone equally. As with any fashion site, numerous products and brands are promoted. But, since it would be literally impossible to make a fashion site WITHOUT the promotion of certain brands and products, this is acceptable. The site offers fashion advice for girls of all different colors, heights, sizes, and hair types. It never makes anyone feel "inferior" because of their physical appearance. Yes, it's superficial, but it's never nasty. Overall, it's a sweet, fun, wholesome site that young girls can enjoy and parents can feel completely comfortable with.
