A new national poll from Common Sense Media and the Center for Digital Democracy reveals that 90 percent of parents believe the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the law that keeps parents in control of the information websites can collect from kids, should be updated to reflect new technologies. But why are these updates so important?
