Ellen Pack is vice president of marketing and general manager of consumer at Common Sense. She has more than 20 years of experience launching and growing consumer online products and services. In the early 1990s, Ellen founded Women.com and grew it into the largest internet destination for women. After Women.com merged with iVillage (now owned by NBC), Ellen ran Town & Country Resources, a regional home-staffing agency in the Bay Area, which she helped expand and then sold five years later in 2008. She went on to lead marketing at Elance, where she helped businesses grow by hiring online talent. Ellen holds a BA in economics from Columbia College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
