Fun but unfair. Definite money hole

At first I didn't mind the money grab, you pay for what you get. But the issue I firmly disagree with is the constant harassment and accusing of botting by their failed captcha system. It is very difficult to make out the choices, they have X's over them and support is no help at all. They insist it is working as intended and you will be locked out of your account for excessive periods of time. You have to appeal to APPLE for a refund. I enjoyed playing, but if I knew I would get locked out I would not put money into this game.

Extreme money grab

I started playing at the beginning and the game was great, but it has turned into a pay to play greed fest that is boring if you don't sink lots of duckets into the gameplay. I am so disappointed with what this game has become...

Like the show that inspired it, this mobile game is fun, but only for people old enough to pay for cable themselves. In American Dad: Apocalypse Soon, aliens have taken over Langley Falls and it's up to Stan and Roger -- and all of Roger's clones -- to save the day. This not only requires you to arm and train these doppelgangers, but also build and maintain the bunker Roger's built under the house, where you can construct and upgrade such facilities as a training room, a cloning lab, a counterfeit printing press, and others.

Obviously, this is not a game for kids. And not just because kids will hate that this game is mostly about micromanagement. In fact, when you finally do get into fights, it's a passive situation where you don't control your clones in real time. Like the show that inspired it, this has all the crude and sexual humor of the show... which is also a problem because not every fan of the show will enjoy the strategic base planning or tame combat either. It also doesn't help that the game doesn't explain itself well, leaving this really just for fans of the show who are already familiar with this kind of game. But if that's you, well, have at it; especially since this has a depth and complexity you wouldn't expect from something connected to this cartoon. Which makes American Dad: Apocalypse Soon great for fans of strategic building games who also love this 'toon.
