What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Babblemania Spanish is a basic vocabulary guide that teaches kids the Spanish words for 16 different fruits and vegetables, and how to construct short sentences using "yo quiero" (I want) and "yo tengo/no tengo" (I have/I do not have). The material is taught and reinforced through five mini-games that involve tapping a picture of the correct item or word when the character asks for it. Kids can also visit the Word Vault, an audiovisual dictionary that lists all the vocabulary in the app for practicing.

Is it any good?

The focus of BABBLEMANIA SPANISH is narrow, with vocabulary being limited to a little over a dozen common fruits and vegetables, but the app provides young children with a friendly and encouraging introduction to Spanish, and could serve as a fun supplement to other beginner Spanish language apps and materials.
