My kid spent $50 bucks and I had no idea....

Great game, my four year old loved the older version and on the older version the kid couldn't spend $49.99 out of my account! Yeah, I gave him the game to play in a store and I didn't play the new version much so I had no idea about this possibility. I am deeply upset. I wouldn't recommend anyone letting a kid too young to understand you shouldn't purchase items...

Is It Any Good?

Cut the Rope wasn't only charming, it was a game that required precision, thought, and good reflexes. Thankfully, that has all remained true for CUT THE ROPE 2. The core gameplay remains strong -- and the addition of new characters gives the puzzles more depth, requiring more analysis to complete them perfectly. With this added element come new pay components as well, such as a firefly that will show you how to solve a puzzle.

These aren't thrust upon the player, but the placement is a bit awkward -- and you may end up accidentally wasting fireflies when you don't mean to, but that's likely to bother perfectionists more than anyone. Like its predecessor, this is a game that both core and casual players can enjoy. It's ambitious and delightful and works wonderfully.
