Parent of a 6 and 8 year old Written byNice Mommy September 5, 2014

My six year old can play this

There are actually three levels of play: easy, normal, and hard. Both my six and eight year old play this game. It is truly engaging and you can set multiple players that the game remembers with each play. The game does give hints. At the top middle of the screen, it has a light bulb icon that shows the next "rule" the player should employ. It does not give the answers though and on the hardest level, I have been stumped for quite awhile. The graphics are very good on IDevices. No violence except for the monster fights at the end of the levels, but it's the army people jumping at the monsters with a spray of green sparks. No weapons.

Well drawn, very poor documentation / explanation

Coming from the Dragon Box algebra I had high expectations. I found it confusing. My 9 yo found it confusing. It was illogical. Quite simply infuriating. with a high potential I'll be glad when (if?) the authors get round to explaining what is expected of a player. A bright 9 year old and a retired math graduate could not make sense of the progressions.
