What’s It About?

Choose one of three players and you're assigned a car that you can paint. Put your name on your garage, then tap Play Game to start. Visit your first state, and answer three trivia questions to earn a state pass. You win cash for correct answers, which adds to your fuel (needed to continue to play). A "Sorry" appears for incorrect answers. Tap on a multiple choice answer or drag a green star to answer other questions on maps. When you master a state you can choose the next border state to move onto, but don't run out of gas!

Kids who have already learned just enough about the 50 states and geography to know answers to some of the questions will enjoy using their knowledge and learning more on Geography Drive USA. Reading through the information at the Visitor Center may be a bit boring for some kids, but it does help to play the game if a kid needs to know more about a certain state. This app is a great way to learn specific information like states and capitals, postal abbreviations, and the shape of states, while learning more general information about American trivia.

  • Post a U.S. map on your refrigerator or wall to help kids catch a glance of it many times a day.

  • With your kid, read the brochure for the state your family lives in -- you both may learn something new!
