Ease of play

Easy peasy. Tap the desired weapon displayed on pegboard to load it onto the iPhone screen and start firing. Point barrel up to reload. The unlimited ammo option ensures you'll never run out of rounds.

Violence

Learning proper use of a firearm is still part of growing up in some American families. But to most kids fed on a steady diet of shoot-em-ups, guns are a toy, and iGun can feed this cultural obsession. Most of the guns, such as the AK-47, are weapons for self-defense, not hunting.

Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that this app is for gun aficionados. It displays realistic-looking firearms, which shoot and reload when you shake the phone. It doesn't set a particularly good example for kids, and is definitely an airport no-no.

QUALITY

For when pointing a finger isn't enough, iGun Pro can transform the iPhone into 13 different real-life semi and fully automatic weapons. For the best effect point the phone and flick wrist to fire. Vibration, smoke curling from the barrel, and the sound of empty shells tinkling to the ground add an extra shot of realism. The gunfire could be more realistic for the particular weapon, and we did not experience the promised recoil, but the app's good enough that we jumped at an accidental round.

Guns for Fun

There is nothing wrong with teaching people to shoot guns. This site is filled with crazy people who think guns should be banned. Well, this amendment was put in the constitution for one reason. If the government tried to in fringe on our rights, we could defend ourselves. No, you think guns are bad since they kill people. Also, teaching someone how to use a gun doesn't make them go out and shoot people. Thats like saying if you teach someone how to drive, they will go and run over 20 people. Finally, parents need to do their job and actually teach and watch what their kids do.

The Reviewer is a Liberal

This app is great for learing about firearms and just having fun. I don't think that children should be sheltered from the constituion. But of course the liberals hate that document. They want to take our guns away and give them to the U.N. gun grabbers. Well I have five words for you FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS. P.S. The Second Amendment wasn't made for hunting, it was made to protect us from tyrants (the government).
