A lot or a little?

The parents' guide to what's in this app.

Ease of Play

The ease of play is one of the highlights of this game. Players rarely even need to touch anything. The vast majority of controls rely on the device's accelerometer (motion detection) feature. Players simply tilt left and right to move the character as he jumps up through each level.

Violence & Scariness

If players do not land successfully on a cloud or platform, the character falls down and the game is over. The character is never shown injured or even in distress.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Jump and Fly is a casual game in which players have to make their way up from the ground to a platform high in the air, jumping on clouds and platforms and avoiding obstacles along the way. Any missteps and it's game over. Although there are hazards and obstacles, there are no depictions of violence in this game. Users can share high scores via the Game Center social network, but participation is optional.

Really cool

Just as fun as my last review games that I did.

What's it about?

Jump and Fly is a fun casual game in which players start at the bottom of the screen and try to make it as high as possible. Players jump on cloud after cloud, watching as their score soars alongside them. If players hit a hazard or are unable to successfully land on a cloud, the game is over and they have to start over again.

Is it any good?

JUMP AND FLY exemplifies what many players look for in a casual game -- simple controls, basic concept, and a lot of replayability. The levels become increasingly challenging, but not because the controls are tough or there's a difficult boss enemy. Every level, no matter how big in scope, seems beatable. It's just a matter of perseverance and endurance, which is why it's so tough to put this game down.
