With no tools to change the textures or shapes of lines beyond thick/not thick, and no color choices beyond the limited background choices and the random line colors kids can cycle through, kids are restricted in what they can create on KIDS PAINT FREE. The ability for kids to draw on their own photos expands creativity options somewhat, and the almost-animated look drawings have when cycling through colors is pretty fun to see. The two-finger drawing feature is also fun to see and play around with. But there are many apps (including free ones) that do a better job empowering kids to express their creativity.
