What's it about?

To use MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FOR MIND, MOOD & WELLBEING, first go through the free course or select the course specific to the mental health issue you're seeking information on and purchase it. For example, choose Anger Management by tapping on the course. Then tap Start. Read the introduction, which will tell you how long the module will take (15 minutes). Tap, swipe, and read to complete the module.

This is a solid, unique resource for both common and serious mental health concerns -- as long as users remember it's intended for information, not direct support. As teens go through the modules on Mental Health Awareness for Mind, Mood & Wellbeing, they can learn about specific terms, behaviors, and strategies for each issue. The app includes modules on bullying, anger management, depression, self-harm, and more. Teens can use this app to grow in awareness and promote positive mental health and social interactions through education. Because it does contain sensitive and intense material, it's best for kids who are ready for it. Also, if a teen is struggling, it's important to note that this app offers information, but not professional support, so more intervention may be necessary.
