A lot or a little?

The parents' guide to what's in this app.

Ease of Play

The first 25 levels or so are extremely easy, then the difficulty ramps up to become much, much more challenging.

Violence & Scariness

If the player fails to move Mr. Space to a safe zone in time, he will be squished between the ceiling and the floor. If this happens, there is a burst of purple and he becomes a flat line (he was a stick figure to begin with) that floats down like a feather.

What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Mr. Space!! is a very simple game in which the player must move a stick figure to a safe spot before the ceiling collapses and crushes him. The crushing of Mr. Space is incredibly cartoony and unrealistic.

Is it any good?

MR. SPACE!! is based upon an incredibly simple idea -- move a stick figure left or right to make sure he's in a safe spot before the ceiling comes crushing down. It's fun for a few levels, but eventually grows repetitive. And then suddenly, around level 25, it becomes too hard -- the player has only a fraction of a second to move. This would be a fun idea for part of a more complex game, but doesn't feel like enough to be a game unto itself. Of course, it is a free app, so it's hard to complain too strenuously.
