What parents need to know
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Kingdom of the Blue Whale is a collection of more than 50 jigsaw puzzles based on high-definition underwater images from the archives of the National Geographic Society. Players can select four difficulty levels ranging from six puzzle pieces to 42, and can create their own puzzles by importing photos from the iPad.
Is it any good?
KINGDOM OF THE BLUE WHALE's gorgeous nautical images of whales, coral, jellyfish, crustaceans, and colorful tropical fish make for some stunning jigsaw puzzles, and it doesn't stop there: Players can also set the images as iPad wallpaper, email them, and upload them to Facebook. Veteran jigsaw enthusiasts will be disappointed, however, by the game's low bar of difficulty. Even the so-called expert puzzles only have 42 pieces.
