Is It Any Good?
Many mobile game apps are one-trick ponies, and Ninjatown: Trees of Doom appears that way on the surface. It's just about climbing trees and seeing how high you can get before hitting and obstacle and falling. But there enough variety among those obstacles to always keep you on your toes. As you try to avoid monsters, slime, and bald spots, you hop back and forth between trees, bounce off mushrooms, swing from branches, leap to grab power-ups, and so on. It's classic arcade-style gameplay with appealingly cute characters (and that even goes for the monsters).
