What parents need to know

Ease of play

Kids as young as two can be taught to tap the shapes. There's only one possible problem. The connect-the-dot game speaks the tapped number as the line is drawn to the next number, which might be confusing.

Is it any good?

This app is a great collection of mini games for toddlers. All kids have to do is tap and listen. For instance, paint splats turn into different colors of sea creatures and kids hear, "green sea turtle," or "purple octopus". Kids tap body parts to hear them spoken and automatically added to a picture of a monkey. Each animal makes a species-appropriate sound or does something amazing. For instance, a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly and flaps away.
