What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Quote Portal is a collection of quotes covering a wide range of topics and content, including a few slightly mature themes in a handful of the quotes. The quotes are organized into 13 categories, and there are also options to view a random quote, which could be from any category, or to search by quote author or by keyword. When kids find quotations that they especially like, they can mark them as Favorites, which are easily viewed later. Quotations can also be emailed or copied to the clipboard for use in other apps.

Is it any good?

QUOTE PORTAL is a well-organized collection of quotations on a variety of topics. The interface is very attractive, and the categories are well chosen. The ability to search by author or keyword makes this app quite useful. Random quotes and the Daily Quote option keep things fresh, and the Favorites option adds to the functionality. When the basic categories are selected, however, the first quote listed is the same one each time. Ther'is no option to see a random quote within a single category.
