SCARLETT AND THE SPARK OF LIFE: SCARLETT ADVENTURES EPISODE 1 is an offbeat adventure with a wicked sense of humor, highly creative puzzles, and a strong and funny female protagonist who doesn't behave like a stereotypical video game princess. Challenges are divided into inventory-based puzzles, where players pick up items and figure out how to use them in the environment, and dialog-based puzzles that involve listening carefully to the other characters and choosing the right things to say. All in all it's a wonderful treat for adventure game fans, even in spite of the open-ended finale that sets the stage for Episode 2.
